birthday wishes...

i celebrated my birthday early with my dear friends laura, julyna, and brandon. i was out of control excited about my princess cake from the swedish bakery in andersonville on clark street (chicago). in san francisco princess cake is a way of life (well not really - just common). for my birthday last year i purchased a sweet princess cake from molly stone's in S.F. (which is blow your mind cake amazing). but i thank the swedish bakery for being probably (so far) the only bakery with princess cake in chicago. hooray!

oh, princess cake does originate from sweden. go figure...i love sweden.
