brett is a girl

my new favorite illustrator is brett manning. what can i say...she's a fellow chicagoan, she seems like a really nice lady, and she makes exquisite artwork. i'm really sad i missed her on the night of september 11th at the fine arts building. i really want one of her plush illustrations (so great!)
