here's another amazing swedish artist. hanna liden, of course. i first saw her photographs at the 2006 whitney biennial. i was immediately drawn to her work. to me it's quiet and calm (juxtapose with rather dark images). when you look at the photos...all you can hear is the flicker of a flame, the ripple in the water, or the crunch of footsteps on dry grass. i am really excited about her recent fashion photography too. check it out!
