swan lakes & sugarplum fairies

mmm...pretty. (i took these photos just in the nick of time! phew) this past winter i remember taking the number 4 bus past saks fifth avenue...i did a double take...and the next night i went back to photograph the windows. the san francisco ballet teamed up with the union square department stores to feature their extraordinary costumes.

if i owned one of these beauties...i wouldn't take it off. it would be my second skin. (ewww)...but i sure would look pretty.
