Greatest Day Ever: I made William Eggleston laugh. After waiting in the longest line in history for his book signing, after explaining to some pushy woman who told us that we ought to buy his very expensive book before waiting in the line, that we had No money for Art, & after watching the dapper little 70yr old Mr. Eggleston fain interest in signing his name for the 400th time that day. I thought it would be funny to pull out my old French leather 'Little Black Book' that had found untouched, unwritten in. I turned to "W", handed it to his "handlers" to open, he signed his name, and without missing a step, slipped me his digits. Then pointed to it and laughed. Don't worry Mr. Eggleston, I promise not to call.
